John promised a spirited drive and he delivered. We had six cars today and it was a treat for Luis and I to be the last car. It was great fun to see the other cars ahead of us, making the twists and turns of the excellent route.
Lunch was at Sarkys Smokehouse. John had said, the meals were plentiful and he wasn’t exaggerating.
Our last stop at the P&H truck stop, was a recommendation from Susan. Homemade desserts; the specialty is peanut butter pie. If you are in the Wells River Vermont area looking for a meal or a snack, check out Sarkys Smokehouse or P&H Truck Stop. Of course, the best treat was the roads!
