Happy Holidays

Little Red and our 1980 X1/9 are snug in the garage waiting for spring.

Does anyone have a winter project to share? If you are looking for Luis and me this winter, well be in the garage cleaning and organizing parts. We recently acquired two 1974 X1/9’s, one for parts and the other, is basically a shell with many boxes of parts. Both cars had been sitting for 30+ years.

The 2024 driving schedule is in the works, with the understanding it won’t be complete until the salt hits the road next fall. We’ve started with the Fiat Club America events that someone from the GWM Chapter is planning to attend. If you are interested let us know.

May 10-12 – Carlisle Imports, PA
June 19-23 – FreakOut, Greenville, SC
Aug 30-Sept 2 – Lime Rock, CT
Sept 13-15 – Mount Washington and Great North Woods, NH
We are planning another Fiat (Italian cars, FCA members) after hours, Friday evening drive, up Mount Washington. Followed by a Saturday Great North Woods drive and a drive headed south for Sunday.
FCA members can attend one or all of these events.

Also in the works, waiting for dates:

  • Saratoga Springs, tentatively the first week in October. Just over the border from Vermont there’s the
Saratoga Automotive Museum and some fun driving roads.
  • Winter Gathering
  • Seacoast Drive
  • Cars and Coffee Candia NH
  • Veloce Imports, Garage Tour
  • Winnipesaukee, Mt. Washington Boat Cruise
  • One and ½ Day Drives

We are always open to suggestions. If you have something in your area you think the chapter would enjoy, please share. If you don’t have the time to put a drive together, we will help.
